What We Stand For
Jagannath Cultural and Educational Center (JCEC) will act as a cultural hub for the Indian community and spread awareness of its rich cultural heritage through festivities, arts & crafts, painting, dance and music. It will promote the Jagannath culture and spiritual well-being among current and future generations.
It will be a vibrant institution to showcase the unique Jagannath culture to the world by displaying the multitudes of Indian arts, crafts, sculptures, intricate paintings, Odissi dance, etc. by connecting to the historical significance.
Community Support & Philanthropy
- Supports philanthropy and charitable activities in the local community and beyond.
- Organizes fundraising events for social causes.
- Conducts food and clothes drives for Bay Area shelters.
- Provides hot lunch to devotees and underprivileged children in the Bay Area.
- Extends aid to those in need beyond the local community.
Education & Wellness Initiatives
- Offers volunteer-led classes on meditation, technology, and more.
- Hosts yoga sessions and meditation camps for all ages.
- Organizes cultural gatherings to celebrate Odia heritage.
Preserving Heritage for Future
- Creates a bridge for the next generation to learn and preserve Odia culture.
- Encourages passing down traditions to future generations.
- Serves as a legacy for first-generation immigrants (seniors).
- Fulfills a long-standing dream of cultural preservation.
