Vision

Jagannath Cultural and Educational Center (JCEC) will act as a cultural hub for the Indian Odia community and spread awareness of its rich cultural heritage through festivities, arts & crafts, painting, dance and music. It will promote the culture and spiritual well-being among current and future generations.

It will be a vibrant institution to showcase the unique culture to the world by displaying the multitudes of Odia arts, crafts, sculptures, intricate paintings, Odissi dance, etc. by connecting to the historical significance. This center will be a prime destination for tourists visiting the San Francisco Bay Area.

The center will support philanthropy and charitable activities in the local community and beyond. It will facilitate fundraising events, food and clothes drives for bay area shelters, and provide hot lunch to communities and underprivileged families in the Bay Area and further.

The establishment will encourage volunteers to teach a wide range of educational subjects for kids and adults from meditation to advanced technology. Also, it will host yoga sessions, meditation camps, and cultural gatherings, while providing senior care, library facilities, and more.
It will provide a conduit for the next generation to learn our culture and traditions, which they can subsequently pass on to their kids. The center will be a legacy, fulfilling a long-standing dream for many first-generation immigrants (seniors), for our descendants to connect to their roots.
